The 2018 National Seminar on Utilization of Sludge Treatment Products was successfully held on December 27th in Qingpu, Shanghai. The Seminar was hosted by SafBon and Asia Environmental Protection. More than 300 people from the municipal industry from all over the country gathered in Shanghai Qingpu to discuss sludge technology innovation, technical process standards and jointly explore the sludge utilization of “reduction, stabilization, harmlessness, and resource utilization”. For the selection of technical process for sludge treatment, the industry has been unremittingly exploring and practicing, especially exploring green solutions with marketization, specialization and cross-industrialization.

As the host, Mr. Zhang Chunlin, Chairman of SafBon, delivered a welcome speech and reported to the guests on the development and achievements of SafBon. In recent years, SafBon has accelerated the acquisition and integration of overseas high-quality environmental protection companies. The global network has begun to take shape and has gathered a large number of global professionals. Responding to the high-quality development of the market demand for high-quality environmental protection equipment, the SafBon Group leveraged its parent company's investment, design, construction and operation capabilities to develop its subsidiary Germany ItN ceramic flat membranes and Austrian KWI DAF applications in various industries, supporting Chinese manufacturing and accelerating the construction of the entire industry chain.

At the same time, SafBon Vice President Guo Huidong, head of SafBon Solid Waste Department, introduced one of SafBon's solid waste treatment areas: leading technology and excellent cases in sludge treatment. SafBon has the courage to explore in the field of sludge treatment and disposal, and has a complete sludge drying process, which can achieve good environmental and social benefits. The Qingpu District Sludge Drying Plant invested by SafBon has adopted the sludge drying & power cogeneration technology, which uses the thin-layer sludge drying machine independently developed by SafBon. Another case is the Nanxun Sludge Drying and Incineration Plant invested by SafBon, which uses the flue gas generated after incineration of dry sludge to directly dry the wet sludge. The process technology fully meets the purpose of circular economy.

Today, we also welcomed more than 100 guests to visit the Qingpu Sludge Drying Plant. Experts and colleagues have shown great interest and appreciation on the thin-layer sludge dryer technology independently developed by SafBon and the stable operation results in the past four years. They had detailed consultation and enthusiastic discussion. We believe that such activities will definitely promote the world's sludge treatment technology, which will help promote communication and improvement!
