On March 14, 2019, the 2018 Drainage Work Meeting of Sichuan Province cum Sewage Treatment Technology & Product Exchange Meeting was held in Shuangliu District, Chengdu. SafBon has brought our three core technologies and products to the conference, providing a green solution for the upgrading of wastewater treatment plant.

1.Phosphorus Removal & Sludge Concentration by Air Flotation
KWI is the inventor and leader of dissolved air flotation technology, which has invented 11 models of air flotation for different applications, during its 70 years development. Particularly, the application of KWI core technologies, the third-generation dissolved air system ADR and the U-shaped plate patented technology, allows the flotation equipment to operate under high hydraulic load and high sludge load. When using these technologies for phosphorus removal, the total phosphorus can be reduced to less than 0.05mg/L, and the problem of large land occupation in traditional processes can be solved. In terms of sludge concentration, the sludge can be concentrated at about 5% after the air flotation, which makes the sludge concentrator run more stably and the drug consumption reduced by about 30%.

2.KWI Filtration Technology
KWI’s floating filtration technology perfectly integrates air flotation and filtration. The equipment can be automatically backwashed one grid after another. Air floatation clarification and sand filter backwashing can be carried out at the same time. The quality of effluent is good, of which the turbidity is less than 0.5NTU and the algae removal rate is 99%. When using KWI activated sand filter cum continuous backwash filter, the hydraulic Load can be up to 18 m³/m2·h. Besides, the filter can run continuously without shutdown for backwashing. The denitrification deep bed filter’s operation integrates denitrification (nitrogen removal), phosphorus removal and suspended matters removal in the meantime.

3. Sludge Drying Technology
SafBon has the property right of the thin film sludge dryer, which can dry sludge with the steam from power plant. The dried sludge is transported to the power plant for power generation, fully meeting the concept of circular economy. The Qingpu sludge drying plant invested by SafBon adopts SafBon’s sludge drying technology in coordination with power generation, in which the thin film sludge dryers, independently developed by SafBon, are applied.
