SafBon was awarded the Jinling reservoir water supply project with Jinzhou water affairs (group) co., ltd. The whole project includes a water intake and water supply pumping station, a water purification plant and a water distribution system. As it is the first municipal surface water treatment plant of Jinzhou city, it would supply the inhabitants of the city 250,000 m3/d of freshwater, which would effectively ease the water strain on water scarce urban areas.

Main Process
The Water Quality of WTP Influent and Effluent
Highlights
-
Large-scale water supply project
The project includes the entire processes from inception to the end, including a water purification plant, a booster pumping station, a 66 kV power substation, 4 km transmission pipeline and 22 km distribution pipeline.
-
Showcase water supply project
The Jinling Reservoir Water Supply Project is the largest water supply and a priority project for Liaoning Province as it supports the key livelihoods of Jinzhou citizens.
-
Innovative and mature technologies
The various surface water treatment processes are used in the project.
Going well on the construction of Jinling reservoir water supply project shows the SafBon ability in handling large scale municipal water treatment project.
The plant has a capacity of 40,000 t/d and adopts tertiary treatment processes. The effluent water can meet the first grade A standard of China’s “Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant”. It is a Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) project which has resolved the local rampant and random discharges by park tenants as well as the environmental pollution issues. The project paves the way for ensuring the sustainable development of the industrial park.
Overview
-
Capability: 40,000 m3/d
-
Technology: BIOBON
-
Project type: Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT)
-
Location: Yuncheng, Shandong Province, China
Main Process
The Water Quality of WWTP Influent and Effluent
Highlights
-
Adopting the BIOBON process
The BIOBON adopted in this project is a multi-stage activated sludge process, which integrates biological nitrogen, phosphate and carbonate removal, final clarification and a subsequent advanced water treatment in the same basin. It can decrease the construction costs which is always lower than the normal bio-chemical tank costs, therefore saving capital investment enhancing the project economics.
-
Convenient operation and maintenance
One unique aspect of the BIOBON process is that all the equipment in the BIOBON tank can be lifted outside the water to execute daily maintenance and overhaul without the need to empty the tank. This can reduce costs and also resolve the problem of bacteria re-cultivation.
Shijiazhuang 100,000 t/d Sewage Treatment Plant is one of the key environmental protection projects in Shijiazhuang and it is also strongly advocated by the local government. The main purpose of this project is to expand existing sewage treatment facilities. Since the development of Shijiazhuang, the amount of sewage has been increased and the scale of existing municipal sewage plant is unable to meet the demands any more. This project solved the urgent needs of wastewater treatment.
Overview
-
Capability: 100,000 t/d
-
Technology: Modified Bardenpho Process
-
Project type: Build- Transfer (BT)
-
Location: Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, China
Main Process
The Water Quality of WWTP Effluent
Highlights
-
High technical requirements
A modified Bardenpho process is utilized in the project, which is able to eliminate COD, Nitrate and Phosphorus contaminants in the influent efficiently. The innovation aspect of this technology is that the denitrification and phosphorus removal can be completed simultaneously. In addition, both the denitrification rate (90%-95%) and phosphorus removal rate (97%) are higher than the commonly used process.
-
Water quality inferiority
The influent of this project mainly comes from North China Pharmaceutical Factory and other industries around. The highest influent COD concentration can be 2000mg/L while the treated effluent quality always reaches the first grade A standard of China’s “Discharge Standard of Pollutants for Municipal Wastewater Treatment Plant”. The effluent COD concentration was below 60 mg/L, which completely matches the design requirements.
Municipal Sewage Plant Project
The client, as well as the citizens in this area, are satisfied with the facilities, as its effluent quality achieved the requirements consistently since operation and has resulted in very low environmental impacts.
As the wastewater treatment plant undertakes the mission of treating sewage from the main urban area of Shijiazhuang, the reliable and efficient operation of the plant is crucial for the completion of the Integrated Treatment Project of Jiao River. The project also has a very important demonstration effect for the severe pollution cases in Hebei and Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei.
Xingyi water treatment plant employs SafBon precoat filtration as the core technology in portable water treatment process. It is a technology which has high removal rate of turbidity and algae and the produced water quality is better than standards for drinking water quality (GB5749-2006) required.
Overview
-
Capability: 30,000 m3/d
-
Technology: Precoat filtration
-
Project type: Build-Transfer (BT)
-
Location: Xingyi, Guizhou province, China
-
Footprint: 15,000 m2
Main Process
The Water Quality of Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Influent and Effluent
Folding Plate Sedimentation Tank
Highlights
-
Suitable for WTP process upgrade
The precoat filtration is a negative pressure filtration process, which matches the existing facilities in Xingyi water treatment plant well.
-
High effluent quality
The Xingyi water treatment plant produces water which achieves the requirement of standards for drinking water quality (GB5749-2006).
-
Reliable
This technology has been verified in several pilot scale experiments and first successfully adopted as full scale facilities in Xiangzhou water treatment plant. In the Xingyi water treatment, this project verifies another successful application.
