On July 20th, the president of Brazil-China International Development Chamber of Commerce led a delegation to visit SafBon, Shanghai, including the mayor and other political and business leaders from Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on water resources, water treatment and other environmental and ecological aspects.

The state of Rio Grande do Sul is the southernmost state in Brazil. It borders the Atlantic Ocean in the east, Argentina in the west and Uruguay in the south. Rio Grande do Sul, with an area of 280 thousand square kilometers and 497 cities, is the first agricultural and pastoral area in Brazil. The industry there is mainly composed of textile, food, tannery, tobacco, chemistry, metallurgy, machinery, shipbuilding, coal mining and sawing wood. There are some great ports and railroads connecting to the major cities in south-east Sao Paulo and Uruguay.

During the meeting, SafBon introduced the core technology in water supply, sewage treatment and solid waste treatment to the Brazilian delegation. SafBon is a comprehensive service provider specializing in intelligent and all-round technical solutions for municipal water treatment, seawater desalination, industrial water treatment, solid waste treatment and energy application. Upholding the concept of " Devoting to water business and improving our environment", SafBon conducts technology development, system design, system integration, system installation and commission as well as undertakes EPC turn-key projects, PPP, BT and BOT projects in all the relative fields. In recent years, SafBon has successively acquired the Austrian company KWI, the German company ItN, the American company SWT, and the Swedish company AquaSwiss, gradually forming a global layout. The companies mentioned above are the originator of air flotation, the pioneer of flat ceramic ultrafiltration membrane and the overall solution providers, respectively. Through the integration of global resources, SafBon is also actively developing markets in Latin America, such as Costa Rica, Peru, Columbia and other countries, including PPP, BOT and EPC/EPCF projects of municipal water treatment and so on.

The unique green water desalination technology of SafBon can effectively improve the life of the reverse osmosis membrane and protect its operation, combined with Austrian air floatation and the pretreatment of the German ceramic plate ultrafiltration membrane. It can greatly reduce the electricity consumption and the chemicals consumption, increasing the recovery of fresh water.

Romario Rasaldo, a representative of Brazil's MPA alliance, and Nelson Morelli, a representative of CONTAC CUT which is Brazil's largest food industry and workers union, said they were impressed by the country's rapid development in economy and technologies of environmental protection during the visit. Brazil is in great need of world-leading water treatment technologies provided by excellent companies like SafBon. There is no seawater desalination technology in Brazil. The green water desalination technology can solve the problem of water use, replace the water diversion project, and effectively solve the local problems of agricultural water use.

China is the largest trade partner of Brazil, and Brazil is the largest trade partner of China in Latin America, too. China and Brazil have established the China-Brazil Capacity Cooperation Fund and China-Latin America Cooperation Fund to provide financial support for Brazil's infrastructure construction, people's livelihood projects and major trade. SafBon hopes to help local people solve environmental and ecological problems such as water use through exchanges and cooperation in environmental protection, and jointly promote the development of China and Brazil.
