Dr. Ralph Nonninger, the founder and the former CEO of German ItN Nanovation AG (ISIN: DE000A0JL461), recently returned ItN as a technical consultant specialized in ceramic membrane products.
As the product technical consultant for ceramic membrane, Dr. Nonninger will work with the ceramic membrane product team in both SafBon Headquarters and the ItN, Germany to research and develop ceramic membrane technology. Dr. Nonninger’s will mainly focus on two parts, guiding Chinese and German teams in the development and improvement of ceramic flat ultrafiltration (UF) membranes and the corresponding components; and enhancing the production level of Nantong Membrane Factory.
In 1990, Mr. Ralph Nonninger graduated from Universität des Saarlandes (University of Saarland, Germany). After that, he joined Leibnitz Institut for New Materials for the next decade. During this period, he got his PhD degree, became a researcher, a leader of team and the director of ceramic membrane department. Then in 2000, he founded ItN and served as Executive Director, Chief Technology Officer and later General Manager. He left ItN in July, 2011. Dr. Ralph Nonninger is currently Chairman of the German Nanotechnology Association and is selected for the German Federal Government's “Go cluster initiative”.
Dr. Nonninger has accumulated a plenty of core technologies in the field of ceramic membranes for many years, he owns (or has hosted the application) about 200 patents in the field of ceramic membranes. On the one hand, as the world's leading expert in the field of ceramic membranes, the return of Dr. Nonninger's will help SafBon and ItN cultivate better R&D teams, and lead the ItN ceramic membrane to a new peak. On the other hand, his joining will helo SafBon in taking the advantage of German high-end equipment manufacturing technology. It contributes the company in improving its competitiveness, promoting the ceramic membrane market development, becoming more internationalization and transforming the company into a profit mode, which is specially explained as "environmental protection equipment, engineering construction, operation and maintenance, design consultation".
