On Sept. 20, in the Innovation Seminar of water pollution control equipment held by CUWA (China Urban Water Association), Mr. Yao Kun, the vice president of Safbon introduced the two major technical brands of KWI air floatation and ItN ceramic flat membrane, he also made a keynote speech about How to Solve the Problem of Land Restriction in the Upgrading of Sewage Treatment Plants Through Technological Innovation which was highly valued by the experts and representatives attending the meeting.

The package process of renovating the secondary sedimentation tank with ItN ceramic flat UF membrane and high speed air floatation phosphorus removal of Safbon have the advantages of steady running, easy operation, low costs, low investigation, small footprint and optimized system. Modified Process: Biochemical Tank → ItN Flat Ceramic UF Membrane (for Nitrogen Removal) → KWI Air Flotation Unit (for Dephosphorization) → Disinfection → Quasi-Four Types of Effluent

It is believed that such kind of process can possibly become the mainstream technology for the upgrading of municipal sewage treatment plants in China in the future.
